A nurse in your corner.
Private nursing and patient advocacy, founded by an oncology and bone marrow transplant Registered Nurse with a decade at NewYork-Presbyterian and Mount Sinai.
Nurashed Care is a private nursing practice built on a simple conviction: no one should face a medical crisis alone. I sit at the bedside. I navigate hospitals. I ask the questions families don't know to ask, push back when the system says no, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks, with the attention and follow-through overstretched systems can't provide.
You work directly with me. I've stood on both sides, as a nurse and as a family member. That is the whole point. Not care that's managed at a distance, but a clinician who is unmistakably in your corner.
Why Nurashed Care
Oncology and bone marrow transplant trained. I spent a decade on the highest-acuity inpatient units in the country. I've cared for patients through chemotherapy, immunotherapy, stem cell transplant, neutropenic fever, GVHD, and post-surgical recovery. I know what sick actually looks like.
Infusion and chemotherapy certified. CRNI and ONS/ONCC credentialed — qualified to manage central lines, blood products, TPN, and complex medication regimens that most private nurses aren't trained to handle.
I read charts the way the hospital does. Epic Super User background and clinical informatics experience. I see what's missing, what wasn't ordered, and what got buried — and I know how to push back, professionally, until it's addressed.
Fierce, but respected. I know how hospitals work because I've worked inside them. I advocate hard for my patients without burning the bridges those patients still need. That balance is the whole job.
How I help families
Every family's situation is different. Some need someone at the bedside overnight. Some need a nurse to make the calls, coordinate appointments, and push back when the system says no. Some need real skilled nursing care at home after a hospital stay. Nurashed Care meets families where they are. On the first call, we'll figure out together what you actually need.
-
I sit at the bedside, overnight, daytime, or both so your loved one isn't alone and someone in the room actually understands what's happening. I translate medical conversations, watch for changes, ask the questions you'd ask if you were there, and make sure the care team knows this patient has someone paying attention.
-
When you can't be in the room, can't get a doctor to call back, can't make sense of a treatment plan, or aren't sure whether the care your loved one is getting is the right care — that's where Nurashed Care steps in. Phone calls to providers, second-opinion coordination, insurance pushback, appointment follow-through. The work that shouldn't fall on a panicked family member but always does.
-
Skilled RN care in the hospital or at home, for oncology, post-surgical, post-transplant, and complex chronic patients. Real nursing, from a clinician who knows what high-acuity care actually looks like.
-
Certified lactation counselor support for new families in the first weeks after birth. Same approach: show up, pay attention, make sure mom and baby are okay.
How We Work
Every engagement begins with a free 20-minute consultation, followed by a clinical intake call, a written care plan, and a signed service agreement. Cases are reviewed and documented to clinical practice standards. You work with me directly, and receive a written summary after each engagement.
I serve families across the New York metro area and northern New Jersey for in-person care, with remote care navigation and advocacy available nationwide.
About cost
Nurashed Care is a private-pay practice. I'm upfront about that, because families deserve to know what to expect before they reach out.
Consultation call — $150 · 60 minutes, written summary
Appointment accompaniment — $450 · up to 3 hours, notes and follow-up
Ongoing care navigation — $1,200/month · 4 hours, text access
Bedside and private duty nursing — quoted after consultationEvery family receives a clear estimate after the initial consultation. No surprises, no hidden fees.
Most families come to Nurashed Care at a moment when something is going wrong, has already gone wrong, or is about to. The cost of a missed diagnosis, a preventable readmission, or a loved one facing a hospital stay alone is far higher than the cost of having an experienced clinician in your corner.
